NursesTakeDC is considered a not for profit organization under the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) section 501(c)(4). Our goal is to further the common good and general welfare of nurses and patients across the US by bringing about a nationally mandated nurse to patient ratio. All profits from our clothing store and fundraising goes back to the cause. This includes but is not limited to promoting SafePatientLimit campaigns, events, and maintaining the NursesTakeDC website.
